Abundant clusters of bright yellow flowers, with lucious dark green foliage, this easy to grow medicinal herb grows to 2m tall and feeds the soil, as it is in the Leguminosae family. Native to Ontario, and the rest of North Eastern North American where, in some areas, it is endangered. It attracts pollinators, notably native bumble bees and the native Cloudless Giant Sulphur (Phoebis sennae) Butterfly. This seed requires cold stratification to germinate. Sow in the fall directly in the ground, or in pots outdoors during the winter. Alternatively, keep the seeds in the refrigerator for at least two months, then sow in the spring in pots or directly in the ground.
At least 50 seeds per packet.
